I have lived in Olathe, KS, for almost 15 years, I love the mid-west, nicest people anywhere; my only complaint is the weather. I recently purchased a home with my amazing wife, Phyllis. She is a lung transplant survivor and the best person in the world - truly compassionate and loving. We have an English Bulldog named Winston who enjoys being a couch potato and receiving lots of attention and love.
Chess is one of my favorite hobbies, as is traveling, having been to many places such as the Rocky Mountains, the Grand Canyons, and the American South West. If there is an educational television show or film, I love watching it, whether it pertains to history, science, finances, or the universe.

My mother is from Mexico, so when it comes to traveling, I have been to her birthplace, Jiminez, Chihuahua, several times and visited Canada in my younger years.

In the past, I ran track, but these days, I love a game of basketball, half-court, online spades games vs. my husband, Kevin, and spending time with family and friends.
